RCM Sr Payment Entry Specialist

Overview

The Senior Payment Entry Specialist posts payments and identifies adjustments, supporting Operations and Client Services in the Revenue Cycle process.

What you'll do

• Provide strong customer service, answering client calls and promptly returning and following up on all interactions.
• Respond promptly to requests for information, both internally and externally.
• Post payments in a timely manner and identify adjustments.
• Input specific data and review patients' issues and credits with expert accuracy.
• Review medical EOBs, patient deductibles and co-pays, and insurance or third-party correspondence.
• Recognize client contracts and identify differences in payments.
• Track and follow up on information requests to and from clients.
• Conduct contract rate audits and notify the Supervisor of underpaid or overpaid charges.
• Work effectively with clients and the group to facilitate information and resolve charge questions.
• Create credit/debit reports and denial reports to provide critical information to the AR Specialist.
• Input and reconcile batches in a timely and efficient manner.
• Comply with and enforce all policies and procedures related to the position, the department and the company.
• Achieve goals set by the supervisor for error-free work, transactions, processes and compliance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Shift time is 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST.
• Location: Pune, India.
