Record to Report Ops Specialist

Overview

Record to Report Ops Specialist role in Accenture's Finance Operations vertical, supporting the Statutory Reporting team in preparing, reviewing and delivering timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for assigned entities.

What you'll do

• Manage assigned statutory reporting activities and timelines, track completion, highlight risks and communicate issues that may affect reporting delivery.
• Prepare and review accurate financial reports, financial statements, supporting schedules and reconciliations with complete supporting evidence.
• Validate data across ERP and reporting systems, investigate variances or inconsistencies, and coordinate timely resolution with upstream and downstream stakeholders.
• Develop structured commentary on financial movements, risks and trends; maintain audit-ready reporting evidence; support governance reviews and contribute to reporting standardization, automation and continuous improvement.
• Analyze and solve moderately complex problems, creating new solutions by leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
• Understand the strategic direction set by senior management, clearly communicate team goals and deliverables, and keep the team updated on change.
• Perform activities including IFRS to local GAAP reconciliation, updating notes accounts, XBRL tagging, and preparing tax packs.

What you'll need

• Any Graduation
• 7 to 11 years of experience
• Finance Processes: end-to-end statutory and financial reporting, financial statement preparation, supporting schedules, data validation and reporting controls
• Variance and trend analysis, issue resolution, reporting governance and clear financial commentary

Nice to have

• Systems knowledge: experience with SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI or similar ERP, reporting and visualization tools
• Industry experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
