Overview

Regulations & Norms Engineer responsible for ensuring export control and sanctions compliance and supporting related risk, technical assessments, and process improvements.

What you'll do

• Ensure products, technologies, projects, and transactions meet applicable trade control and sanctions requirements.
• Assess risks related to product/technology, jurisdiction, end-use, end-user, and transactions.
• Review Export Control Questionnaires and product/technology data for classification and compliance assessment.
• Coordinate with R&D PTM/PM and the internal AREG team on export control sanctions matters.
• Monitor changes in export control regulations, sanctions lists, and restrictions, and assess business impact.
• Maintain assessment and screening records, regulatory change records, and compliance KPIs.

What you'll need

• Experience reviewing regulatory requirements for applicability to business activities.
• Ability to assess end-use, end-user, and transaction-related export control and sanctions risks.
• Experience supporting controls and escalation for high-risk cases.
• Ability to review Export Control Questionnaires and product/technology data for classification and compliance.
• Experience coordinating internally on export control sanctions matters and providing guidance on requirements.
• Ability to maintain accurate, properly controlled compliance documentation and evidence.
