Research Associate - Mass Spectrometry

Overview

Research Associate focused on designing and executing LCMS experiments for protein characterization, including protein and biosimilar-related analyses.

What you'll do

• Design and execute LC-MS/MS experiments for protein characterization for LCMS method objectives.
• Conduct protein/mAb characterization using LC-MS/MS techniques including QTOF, MALDI TOF, 2D LC QTOF, and IM QTOF.
• Perform biosimilars characterization such as intact mass analysis, subunit mass, peptide mapping, and PTM analysis using LC-MS/MS.
• Develop and qualify LC-MS/MS methods for mAbs and support method development and validation activities.
• Interpret analytical data, draw conclusions, and present results at group meetings.
• Prepare protocols/reports/manuscripts and contribute to writing and reviewing content.
• Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and participate in safety/quality initiatives.

What you'll need

• Minimum experience of 2–5 years with a Master’s degree for method development and qualification.
• PhD with 0–1 years of working experience for method development and qualification.
• Hands-on experience handling analytical instruments including HRMS, TQ LCMS, Synapt, Xevo QTOF, and 2D LC QTOF.
• In-depth knowledge of LCMS QTOF and analytical techniques for biotherapeutics/biosimilars.
• Knowledge of biosimilarity/CAA using LCMS including mAbs bio similarity and CAA using LCMS.
• Understanding of good laboratory practices and Good Documentation Practices.
