Overview
Associate Microbiology supports microbiological testing and quality documentation activities to ensure compliant, accurate results.
What you'll do
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of media stocks, including sterilization via autoclave cycles.
- Manage receipt, storage, and handling of Bio ball cultures; assist with master cultures and Cryo vial preparation.
- Perform microbiological tests including water analysis, Microbial Limit Test, sterility tests, bacterial endotoxin test, CCIT, and micro challenge studies.
- Update and file training records to reflect current testing capabilities.
- Sample and label materials per defined procedures and verify equipment and instruments.
- Interpret and evaluate data for accuracy, precision, trends, and potential cGMP impact; recommend corrective actions.
- Review and revise SOPs, analytical methods, and related documents; complete analyses and generate EMS reports.
What you'll need
- Master’s degree in Microbiology or Bio-technology.
- 4-5 years of experience with relevant experience.
- Technical skills in method validation and testing.
- Ability to read and understand compendial methods, SOPs, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and its application standards, processes, and policies.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong multi-tasking ability.
- Proficiency with Quality Control instruments meeting accuracy specifications for sample and data handling.
