Team Member - Engineering (Water Systems)

Overview

Team Member – Engineering for Water Systems to operate, maintain, document, and support validation of pharmaceutical-grade water and utility systems.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor raw water, soft water, DM water, RO, EDI, PW, WFI, and pure steam systems.
• Maintain continuous availability of pharmaceutical-grade water as per production requirements.
• Monitor parameters including conductivity, TOC, temperature, pressure, flow rate, and microbial trends.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance, including troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Maintain cGMP/GDP-compliant logs, records, and utility checklists; prepare and review related SOPs.
• Support water quality sampling, trend reviews, and investigations for OOS/OOT and microbial excursions.

What you'll need

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
• Experience of 6–10 years at Engineer level in pharmaceutical/biotech/vaccine/API or regulated manufacturing.
• Hands-on operation and maintenance experience with PW, WFI, pure steam, RO, EDI, and distribution systems (preferred).
• Ability to support qualification/validation activities including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Knowledge of compliance with cGMP, GDP, Data Integrity, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience maintaining logbooks and maintenance records and documenting deviations/incidents/corrective actions.

• Diploma in Engineering with relevant pharmaceutical utility experience may be considered.
