Overview
Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support ELV and security systems, including access control, fire alarm, CCTV, servers, and BMS.
What you'll do
- Install, commission, test, and maintain access control, CCTV, fire alarm (FAS), and BMS systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in security and automation systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules.
- Configure and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and security platform system software.
- Monitor system performance to ensure maximum uptime for client installations.
- Coordinate with customers to understand service requirements and provide timely resolutions.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
- Support system upgrades, expansions, and migration activities.
What you'll need
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with access control systems.
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with fire alarm systems (FAS).
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with CCTV surveillance systems.
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with server installation and troubleshooting.
- 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with building management systems (BMS).
- Good knowledge of networking concepts, IP addressing, switches, and routers.
- Experience with system integration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

- Fire alarm system certifications.
- BMS vendor certifications.
- CCNA or networking certifications (preferred).
