Field Service Engineer (FIELD REMOTE, Spokane, WA)

Overview

Field Service Engineer providing on-site customer support for installation, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex analytical equipment and systems, including training and account support.

What you'll do

• Perform on-site installations and ongoing maintenance, validations, and repairs per service standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair complex equipment and systems.
• Instruct customers on operation and maintenance of the system.
• Oversee training, support, and upgrades based on customers’ analytical workflows.
• Identify revenue opportunities such as billable work, consumables, and service leads.
• Maintain assigned assets including tools, MTE, telecommunication equipment, and service parts inventory.
• Report improvement opportunities through the quality notification process.

What you'll need

• BA in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline (including military experience) plus 3 years direct laboratory equipment repair experience.
• Or Associate Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline (including military experience) plus 5 years direct laboratory equipment repair experience.
• Or High School Diploma plus 7+ years direct laboratory equipment repair experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and customer service skills.
• Technical critical thinking and attention to detail.
• MS Office skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Valid driver’s license and safe motor vehicle operation.

Details

• Location: US Remote (WA); field role servicing customers in Seattle, WA and surrounding areas.
• Travel up to 50% of the time depending on territory requirements/customer base.
