Field Service Engineer (Field Remote - Oklahoma City, OK)

Overview

Field Service Engineer providing highly visible customer support via on-site installation plus diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

What you'll do

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, validations, and repairs while meeting service standards and KPIs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment and systems.
• Instruct customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Engage with customers to understand analytical workflows and tailor training, support, and upgrades.
• Maintain assigned assets, including tools, test equipment, telecommunication equipment, and service parts inventory.
• Identify improvement opportunities through the quality notification process.
• Complete administrative tasks such as time reporting and assigned training.

What you'll need

• 3+ years direct experience repairing laboratory equipment with a BA in applied science, biology, chemistry, electronics, mathematics, engineering, or related discipline (including military experience).
• OR 5+ years direct experience repairing laboratory equipment with an Associate Degree in applied science, biology, chemistry, electronics, mathematics, engineering, or related discipline (including military experience).
• OR 7+ years direct experience repairing laboratory equipment with a High School Diploma (including military experience).
• Interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and accurately.
• MS Office skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to follow/create written and verbal directions and read technical bulletins and service manuals.

Details

• Work location: US Remote with servicing customers in the Oklahoma City, OK area.
• Travel up to 50% of the time based on territory and customer base.
