Field Service Engineer (REMOTE FIELD- Minneapolis, MN)

Overview

Field Service Engineer for remote fieldwork supporting laboratory analytical equipment.

What you'll do

• Perform installations, maintenance, validations, and repairs per service standards and KPIs.
• Engage with customers to understand analytical workflows and tailor service offerings.
• Maintain assigned assets including tools, test equipment, telecommunication equipment, and service parts.
• Identify and report quality improvement opportunities via the quality notification process.
• Complete administrative tasks including time reporting and assigned training.
• Maintain health, safety, security, environmental, and operational training and compliance.

What you'll need

• For BA: 3+ years direct experience repairing laboratory equipment.
• For Associate: 5+ years direct experience repairing laboratory equipment.
• For High School Diploma: 7+ years direct experience repairing laboratory equipment.
• MS Office skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Technical critical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow and create written/verbal directions and read service manuals.

Nice to have

• Detailed knowledge of analytical equipment, laboratory environment, and/or instrument control software.
• Vendor-issued certification on relevant laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices as defined by company or customer site.

Details

• Location: US Remote - MN.
• Travel: typically up to 50% of the time as business requires.
• Compensation range: $60,000 - $79,000 for a full-time position.
