Technical Associate - Application Support 5A

Overview

Technical Associate - Application Support responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting application and SQL job issues, and assisting with user support, releases, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Participate in and attend status calls.
• Monitor and solve issues related to SQL jobs.
• Debug SQL job failures.
• Handle ad-hoc user report enquiries.
• Raise issues to vendors and provide on-call support for critical onsite issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software problems to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support to end-users for application-related issues.

What you'll need

• Education in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or masters in software engineering.
• Certifications including CCNA/Oracle implementation-related certifications as listed.
• Experience with ITIL framework and ITIL practices.
• Skills in SQL-job monitoring/support and Unix shell scripting (as listed under required skills/tools).
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and collaboration tools.
• Proficiency in English (C2).
