Field Service Engineer (FIELD REMOTE, Seattle, WA)

Overview

Field Service Engineer providing highly visible customer support through on-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

What you'll do

• Perform installations, maintenance, validations, and repairs while following service standards and KPIs.
• Diagnose issues and troubleshoot complex equipment and systems.
• Instruct customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Engage customers to understand analytical workflows and tailor service offerings, including training, support, and upgrades.
• Oversee administrative and technical liaison for assigned projects.
• Maintain assigned assets including tools, test equipment, telecom equipment, and service parts inventory.

What you'll need

• BA/Applied Science-related degree plus 3 years of direct repair experience for laboratory equipment.
• OR Associate degree plus 5 years of direct repair experience for laboratory equipment.
• OR High School Diploma plus 7+ years of direct repair experience for laboratory equipment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills for accurate information delivery.
• Technical critical thinking with attention to detail.
• MS Office skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
• Ability to follow/create written and verbal directions and read technical bulletins and service manuals.

Details

• Work location is remote (field role) servicing Seattle, WA and surrounding areas.
• Travel may be up to 50% of the time, depending on territory and customer base.
