Research Specialist

Overview

JLL is seeking a full-time Research Specialist to join the JBS Research team for EMEA Living Research, supporting US Strategy & Research analysis of real estate markets and macro-economic data.

What you'll do

• Update, validate, and visualize macroeconomic (US and metro-level) trends, capital markets, and commercial real estate market data for various property and industry sectors.
• Prepare real estate market analyses for potential acquisitions, covering construction, vacancy, and rent growth trends.
• Maintain presentation graphics that synthesize economic and real estate data into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively communicate with matrix manager and other colleagues in Strategy & Research on project updates, data quality, and analytical findings to support timely research delivery.
• Support US and global research initiatives, including contributions to white papers and Insights, Strategy and Analysis (ISA) publications.

What you'll need

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Bachelor's degree in fields related to Finance, Statistics, Economics, Urban Planning, Geography, Real Estate etc.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate and interpret data.
• Advanced command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Organized, methodical and proactive, with strong ability to multitask, be resilient and effectively manage time, processes, and workload.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to both work independently and as part of a dynamic matrixed organization.

Nice to have

• 5-7 years professional experience.
• A demonstrated interest in economics, statistical analysis, or real estate.
