Revenue Accounting Senior Analyst

Overview

Revenue Accounting Senior Analyst in Finastra's Global Finance organization, reporting to the Accounting Operations Senior Manager and based in Bangalore.

What you'll do

• Review customer contracts, interpret them, arrive at the revenue decision and help account for it in the books.
• Implement the Revenue Accounting Policy of Finastra and account for revenue as per IFRS 15.
• Record revenue for the period, both recurring revenue and revenue determined on contracts for the period.
• Prepare reports on a monthly or quarterly basis for the legal entities under your responsibility.
• Support the Group Audit, Statutory Audit and Internal Audits from time to time.
• Oversee the work of a team of 4-6 people on their day-to-day activities; the team has dotted line reporting to this role, which is an individual contributor position.
• Review controls and processes and suggest necessary changes.
• Represent the team in projects as a revenue SME.

What you'll need

• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Revenue Accounting experience is a must.
• High degree of computer proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel and general ledger software.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
