Rust + Backend-3 - Senior Engineer

Overview

Senior Rust backend engineer role focused on building scalable data conversion and streaming applications.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain Rust-based scalable data conversion tools.
• Build and maintain highly modular Rust backend applications using Ports & Adapters.
• Implement and maintain Rust CLI, TUI, and UI in coordination.
• Develop and maintain a Python SDK.
• Use Arrow, Polars, DataFusion, and Jupyter Notebooks for debugging and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data conversion.

What you'll need

• 2–3 years of experience as stated in the posting.
• Strong hands-on experience in complex data file conversion and file compression.
• Strong experience with data serialization and deserialization.
• Experience in data and file streaming.
• Hands-on observability experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
