Sales Officer

About the role

We're looking for a driven Sales Officer to own the complete sales operation across Bulandshahr and neighbouring markets. You'll build our distributor network from the ground up, hit aggressive volume targets, and establish ourselves as the go-to detergent brand in your territory.

What you'll do

• Drive primary (billing) and secondary (liquidation) sales to meet or exceed monthly targets across assigned clusters
• Identify and appoint new distributors and super-stockists in unmapped rural and urban areas, conducting financial viability checks and closing deals
• Execute a disciplined Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) with daily visits to Kirana stores, general merchants, wholesalers, and retail points
• Manage outstanding payments and collections from the market, ensuring zero defaults and smooth cash flow
• Track daily stock levels, competitor activity, and market intelligence; submit timely reports to regional management

What we're looking for

• 2–5 years of hardcore field sales experience in FMCG, ideally in soaps, detergents, or personal care categories
• Deep geographical knowledge of Aligarh and surrounding areas (Khair, Atrauli, Iglas, Gabhana, Tappal) with an active network of local distributor contacts
• Own a two-wheeler and hold a valid driving license — you'll be on the road daily covering your territory
• Fluent Hindi communication, high energy, and proven merchant negotiation and closing skills

Nice to have

• Prior experience managing distributor networks or expanding into new territories
• Familiarity with FMCG supply chain and wholesale trade dynamics in North India
• Track record of exceeding sales targets in competitive markets
