SAP Basis Technical SME

Overview

Serve as an SAP BASIS technical subject matter expert, managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex SAP environments in a RISE with SAP (MSM) environment.

What you'll do

• Resolve complex SAP BASIS incidents, including performance, kernel, and recovery issues.
• Administer SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager.
• Lead SAP upgrades, enhancement pack installations, and database migrations.
• Perform root-cause, impact, and performance analysis.
• Manage SAP monitoring, security, user roles, authorizations, and patches.
• Design and test backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide expert guidance to L1/L2 teams and stakeholders during critical incidents.

What you'll need

• Strong expertise in SAP BASIS administration.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex SAP environments.
• Experience driving escalated incidents to resolution.
• Knowledge of SAP systems across databases and operating systems.
• Ability to conduct deep-dive analysis of major and critical issues.
• Skills in technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
