SAP BASIS Admin

Overview

Manage SAP Basis environments and provide administration, troubleshooting, integration, and performance support across on-premises and cloud deployments, primarily Azure.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary contact for SAP Basis issues.
• Administer SAP landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, Solman, PI/PO, LVM, RMJ, Router, and CC.
• Architect and support high-availability Linux environments for SAP HANA and SAP Central Services.
• Design and implement integrations between SAP BTP and SAP or non-SAP systems.
• Provide HANA troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup, replication, and failover support.
• Lead projects, create architecture diagrams and runbooks, and engage stakeholders.
• Participate in IT change management and validate or approve SAP-related changes.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of overall experience.
• 4+ years of directly related or relevant experience, preferably in application or system administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent related experience.
• Experience with SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Extension Suite, and BTP services.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA administration, high availability, disaster recovery, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of SLES, RHEL, Linux Pacemaker, SAP networking, Azure, and cloud deployments.
• Ability to work flexible hours across different time zones.

Nice to have

• BTP certification.
• HANA certification.
• Cloud ALM and Solman-to-Cloud ALM transition exposure.
• Familiarity with RISE with SAP and shared responsibility boundaries.
