SAP FI-CA Consultant

Overview

SAP FI-CA Solution Consultant for contract accounting, bridging SAP billing (BRIM) and financial accounting/controlling (FI-CO). Owns FI-CA implementation, configuration, integration, support, and related testing, training, and documentation.

What you'll do

• Lead SAP FI-CA implementation and configuration based on stakeholder and business requirements.
• Configure and maintain FI-CA integration points with upstream SAP BRIM and downstream SAP FI-CO modules.
• Ensure end-to-end financial process integration, including data flow and reconciliation between billing and accounting postings.
• Provide technical guidance across FI-CA areas such as business partners/contracts, posting/clearing, dunning/collections, and payment processing.
• Troubleshoot FI-CA implementation and integration issues and assist with system testing and UAT.
• Explore and champion adoption of agentic AI tools for automating financial processes within FI-CA.
• Deliver training, ongoing post-implementation support, and create documentation for FI-CA configuration and integration design.

What you'll need

• 5+ years SAP FI-CA implementation and configuration experience.
• Experience with at least 3 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of FI-CA contract accounting, including business partner/contract account structures and reconciliation processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CC, CI) and their integration with FI-CA.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI-CO (General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Cost Centre Accounting).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• SAP FI-CA certification (strongly preferred).
• SAP BRIM or SAP FI-CO certification (advantageous).
• Hands-on experience or interest in agentic AI tools for financial process automation.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications relevant to finance and billing, including launchpad configuration and Fiori reporting.
• Exposure to SAP BTP or integration middleware.
