SAP-FICO-Senior Associate-Hyderabad

Overview

As a SAP FICO Senior Associate, you will support SAP Finance consulting efforts within the Technology Consulting practice, helping clients improve finance processes, reporting, and system integration through SAP finance solutions. You will analyze complex issues, manage assigned workstreams, support deliverables, guide junior team members, and build client relationships.

What you'll do

• Analyze SAP FI and CO requirements to translate client finance needs into workable application designs.
• Configure core FI and CO capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, internal orders, project systems, profit center accounting, product costing, and margin analysis.
• Support end-to-end SAP S/4HANA and ECC implementation activities across finance workstreams.
• Integrate SAP FI/CO processes with SD, MM, PS, HR, PP, PM, and external tools such as Trintech, RAR, CFIN, Coupa, and Ariba.
• Prepare project deliverables, solution documentation, and configuration notes for client engagements.
• Apply knowledge of financial accounting, management controlling, taxation, and financial reporting to solve business issues.
• Validate compliance requirements and maintain alignment with finance process controls and regulatory expectations.
• Develop internal relationships, mentor junior team members, and contribute to team technical growth.
• Interpret client feedback and business context to support issue resolution and deliver practical recommendations.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• At least one of the following fields of study: Commerce, Computer and Information Science, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems.
• One or more SAP certifications aligned to finance, accounting, and financial controls within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Demonstrating 4 to 5 years in SAP FI-CO implementation work.
• Applying knowledge of financial accounting, controlling, and taxation.
• Utilizing Trintech, RAR, CFIN, Coupa, or Ariba integrations.
• Leading deliverables, mentoring peers, and building internal relationships.
