Financial Analyst, Daily Valuation- India

Overview

Perform trading functions at a senior level and support daily valuation, trade reconciliation, manual reconciliation, reporting, and dividend processing for the Future Plan Daily Recordkeeping Trade Team.

What you'll do

• Train, mentor, and support trading associates on the Future Plan Daily Recordkeeping Trade Team.
• Identify and fix complex breaks related to stocks and cash receipts in manual reconciliation, including dividends and corporate actions.
• Report unidentified breaks to onshore teams in a timely manner to avoid processing delays.
• Ensure daily reporting is completed and monitor aging items.
• Modify and add to reporting for new measurements and to measure quality.
• Perform trade reconciliation of the Trade Platform Accounting System to fund positions.
• Process dividends on the Trade Platform Accounting System.
• Protect, secure, and properly handle confidential data held by Ascensus against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and unapproved disclosure.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.

What you'll need

• Graduate or postgraduate qualification in a Finance or Accounting background.
• Good communication skills.
• Good typing skills with attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to self-learn.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
• Ability to adapt assignments quickly.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts based on business requirements.
• Good knowledge of reconciliation concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• 2 to 4 years of BFSI or US Retirement industry experience.
• Good working knowledge of Excel.
• Proven track record of working effectively in a flexible work environment and using a result-oriented approach.
