Associate Financial Analyst, Daily Valuation - India

Overview

Support daily trade operations for the Future Plan Daily Recordkeeping Trade Team and the cash reconciliation process, including identifying and resolving breaks related to stocks and cash receipts.

What you'll do

• Complete daily reporting and monitor aging items.
• Identify and fix breaks related to stocks and cash receipts in manual reconciliation, such as dividends and corporate actions.
• Report unidentified breaks to the onshore team in a timely manner to avoid processing delays.
• Modify and add reporting for new measurements and to measure quality.
• Reconcile trades from the Trade Platform Accounting System to fund positions.
• Process dividends on the Trade Platform Accounting System.
• Protect, secure, and properly handle confidential data held by Ascensus to prevent unauthorized access, improper transmission, and unapproved disclosure.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.

What you'll need

• Graduate or postgraduate qualification in a Finance or Accounting background.
• Good communication skills.
• Good typing skills with attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn independently.
• Basic MS Office knowledge and preferably good working knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to adapt assignments quickly.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts based on business requirements.
• Good knowledge of reconciliation concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• 0 to 12 months of BFSI industry experience.
• A proven track record of working effectively in a flexible work environment and a result-oriented approach.
