Financial Analyst I - AP

Overview

Financial Analyst I – AP (Accounts Payable) is responsible for daily accounts payable processing, invoice handling, reconciliations, and related finance support.

What you'll do

• Process PO-based invoices in Tally and match them to the correct GRN.
• Handle non-PO invoices by ensuring authorization and correct general ledger/budget/client-project details.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve related queries.
• Maintain an invoice query log and resolve invoice queries on a timely basis.
• Process supplier payments via internet banking weekly and reconcile company credit card invoices.
• Process staff expenses weekly and support journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger tasks.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience using an accounting system.
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting department, preferably in Accounts Payable.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to actively participate in departmental improvement projects.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Details

• Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India.
• Reports to Assistant Manager, Finance and works closely with the India team.
• Process supplier payments on a weekly basis.
