Overview

Design, maintain and optimize SAP solutions and integrated applications, ensuring solution integrity, quality, required business functionality and alignment with SAP standards. Manage workstream interdependencies and contribute to project delivery and service operations optimization.

What you'll do

• Support validation and prioritization of incoming business demand with project owners, business functions and units, functional consultants and third parties.
• Translate functional designs into functional specifications and review and sign off functional and technical use case specifications.
• Communicate technical specifications to developers.
• Join unit testing and support UAT testing and defect resolution.
• Formulate rules, principles and guidelines for developing technical solutions.
• Determine non-functional requirements and ensure service and solution operation standards are considered.
• Keep knowledge current on emerging technology and industry practices and bring learning into the HE SAP CoE.
• Collaborate with users on projects and problem management to develop and deploy feasible and cost-efficient IS solutions and services.
• Collaborate with other streams to clarify cross-stream impacts and support optimized solutions from an end-user perspective.
• Ensure solution documentation and training materials are created and maintained.
• Consult, advise and support the installation of new SAP solutions and services and changes to existing solutions and services.
• Consult users to understand current procedures and clarify further requirements.
• Support installation, management, maintenance and optimization of SAP processes in the area of responsibility.
• Provide functional guidance to the SAP CoE technology team on implemented solutions and User Story operating guidelines.
• Ensure solution and service-related standards are considered with the BST/P&A Enterprise Architect.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
• Take responsibility for personal actions while caring for colleagues and the business.

What you'll need

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science preferred, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience within the Information Technology industry in solution architecture across various IT areas, with focus on S/4HANA in a global project environment.
• Experience with SAP Finance modules and SAP S/4HANA solutions, including Finance GA, Asset Accounting, AP and integration with VIM, AR including FSCM Credit, Dispute and Collection, S/4 Treasury/Banking with Business Connector/MBC, tax determination, and SAP/Fiori Workflows.
• Experience with SAP Controlling, including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, COPA, Product Cost Planning and Material Ledger with Actual Costing.
• Understanding of Make to Order, Make to Stock, Engineer to Order and Service Management business processes.
• Material Ledger, Results Analysis, COPA and Cost Object Controlling for Make-to-order and Engineering-to-order are mandatory.
• Understanding of integration with SD, PS, PP, Service Management and MM.
• Strong knowledge of Management Accounting and reporting.
• Practical implementation experience with integration software and tools: BizTalk and/or MuleSoft.
• Fluent English language skills and good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders.
• Conflict management skills and ability to work as a team player.

• REFX experience.
• Integration with Vertex.
• ABAP debugging skills.
• FI-CO data migration experience.
• CDS views and Fiori apps.
• Certification in S/4HANA and/or other SAP solutions.
• International work experience in different countries or cultures.
• Proven experience implementing SAP best practices, especially for a smooth transition when carving out a business division from a current SAP landscape to a different one.
