Overview
Scrum Master to lead agile delivery for engineering development teams, acting as an agile leader and performance coach.
What you'll do
- Support team ceremonies so meetings are team-led, productive, and value-driven.
- Act as a subject matter expert on lean and agile principles to develop and refine an effective process.
- Maintain transparent reporting and visible Agile dashboards (e.g., burn-down charts, flow metrics).
- Coach self-organization, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership for outcomes.
- Use metrics to identify and solve bottlenecks or delays, driving continuous improvement.
- Partner with the Product Owner to keep the product backlog healthy, well-groomed, and prioritized.
- Identify and remove impediments and risks impacting team progress, protecting flow and productivity.
What you'll need
- 3+ years of dedicated experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification is required.
- Demonstrable experience mentoring teams and individuals to foster self-organization and a growth mindset.
- Comfort using agile metrics to drive team improvement discussions.
- Excellent moderation, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
