Seals Design Engineer

Overview

Seals Design Engineer focused on design and development of seals for engine and machine applications.

What you'll do

• Research new materials and competitive products.
• Organize, coordinate, and execute prototype building, testing, and analysis.
• Develop and document functional requirements and create detail design documents.
• Participate in buy-build analysis for product components.
• Support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Assist supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and performance.
• Oversee drafting and testing specialists’ efforts.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of product design experience.
• Minimum 5+ years in component design & development (preferably seals).
• Experience in component validation.
• Prior experience working with suppliers and the procurement team.
• High familiarity with engineering systems, processes, and standards.

Details

• Onsite role requiring working five days a week.
• Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
