Overview
Design and refine secondary electrical circuits for power infrastructure projects, supporting reliable, safe, and efficient systems.
What you'll do
- Design secondary electrical circuits for substations, transmission lines, and industrial facilities.
- Prepare engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials using CAD software.
- Perform protection coordination, relay setting, and control logic calculations and simulations.
- Coordinate secondary systems with primary design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct technical reviews against IEC, ANSI, IEEE, and client requirements.
- Support factory and site acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Prepare technical reports and improve design processes.
What you'll need
- 3–5 years of experience in secondary circuit design for power systems.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of protection relays, control systems, and SCADA integration.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as E3, EPLAN, or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Experience with protection coordination studies and relay setting calculations.
- Familiarity with international and national electrical standards and codes.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
