Security Operations AI Engineer, Contract

Overview

Manage AI information security operations, incident response, engineering, and governance, with a focus on securing AI/ML systems, infrastructure, generative AI, and large language models.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks for prompt injection, model poisoning, data exfiltration, and adversarial attacks.
• Monitor and secure generative AI systems, LLMs, and AI-powered applications.
• Maintain security tooling, pipelines, telemetry, and service availability.
• Engineer detection logic and operational practices for AI/ML security events.
• Evaluate security risks of AI/ML tools and platforms before production deployment.
• Conduct post-incident analysis and develop preventive measures for AI-related events.
• Contribute to AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and reference architectures.

What you'll need

• Experience contributing to security operations and engineering for mission-critical applications.
• Ability to build and maintain tooling, pipelines, and telemetry for secure AI/ML deployment.
• Knowledge of AI/ML security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies.
• Ability to configure AI/ML telemetry and logging for detection and forensic analysis.
• Ability to validate AI model robustness against adversarial inputs.
• Knowledge of data privacy protections for AI models.
