Senior AI Conversation Designer

Overview

Customer-facing, billable AI Conversational Designer role within the NICE CXone Cognigy platform, combining conversational design leadership with technical implementation expertise.

What you'll do

• Lead complex AI solution implementations from pilot through full enterprise deployment.
• Configure and build CXone AI solutions including NLU, IVR/ACD, ASR, digital channels, and knowledge capabilities.
• Develop chatbots and voicebots with emphasis on code quality, architecture, and stability.
• Integrate AI solutions across CRMs, APIs, and customer ecosystems for end-to-end architectures.
• Support testing, UAT, go-live readiness, and hypercare with post-deployment optimization.
• Design conversational experiences by defining intents, journeys, and decision paths and creating dialog flows.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience, including at least 1 year with digital channels, AI, or bot-driven applications.
• Skills configuring AI and contact center technologies including NLU/NLP/LLM and agentic-powered solutions.
• Experience supporting large enterprise environments with complex integrations at scale.
• Proficiency with CRM integrations and APIs.
• Familiarity with API tools such as Postman and Swagger.

• Work model: hybrid with two days in the office and three days of remote per week.
