Senior AI & Data Engineer

Overview

Senior AI & Data Engineer role in Chennai to design and deploy AI-powered workflows and data solutions for business teams.

What you'll do

• Architect, develop, and deploy LLM-powered AI agents and solutions for BD and M&A teams.
• Build AI integrations across enterprise systems using frontier model APIs and context engineering.
• Work across databases, data lakes, and warehouses to deliver clean, well-modeled data for reporting.
• Enhance Tableau dashboards and analytics workflows with AI-driven insights and automated data preparation.
• Design and maintain n8n and agent-framework workflow automations connecting models, MCP servers, APIs, and tools.
• Build AI evaluation, monitoring, and governance for quality, accuracy, cost, and production guardrails.
• Contribute hands-on code including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using agentic coding tools.

What you'll need

• Excellent understanding of how LLMs, AI agents, and AI automation work, including model limitations.
• Practical applied experience using language models for summarization, extraction, classification, and enrichment.
• Demonstrated ability to deploy frontier models into production.
• Strong data architecture fundamentals across relational databases, data lakes, and cloud warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
• Experience with modern reporting and BI, ideally Tableau, and how AI fits into reporting workflows.
• Ability to craft, test, and refine prompts/context strategies and evaluate AI output quality.
• Fluency with agentic coding tools, especially Claude Code (Cursor and GitHub Copilot also count).
