Senior AI Engineer

Overview

Senior AI Engineer role on the Core AI team, developing and shipping production AI features including conversational agents, deep learning systems, and personalized recommendations.

What you'll do

• Drive AI products from ideation and prototyping through deployment and optimization.
• Build evaluation frameworks, testing processes, CI pipelines, and shared tooling for AI systems.
• Set engineering standards for testing, abstractions, observability, and production reliability.
• Develop conversational AI agents, deep learning systems, and personalized recommendations.
• Build and improve machine learning models supporting behavior change and metabolic health outcomes.
• Analyze member behavior and preferences to influence the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with clinical, medical research, business analytics, and engineering teams.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of industry experience developing production AI and machine learning systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing, CI/CD, system design, and code review.
• Experience building evaluation infrastructure for LLM-based systems.
• Experience developing applications with LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG, and iterative AI evaluations.
• Experience integrating and deploying models in production AI systems.
• Proficiency in Python and software engineering best practices.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience building consumer-facing features.
• Healthcare experience.
• Experience with Voice AI or specialized language models, including VLMs and multimodal models.

Details

• Remote role available to US-based persons.
• Compensation is $200,000–$220,000 annually.
