Senior AI Engineer, KYC Operations - Vice President

Overview

Senior AI Engineer (KYC Operations), Vice President-equivalent role focused on designing, prototyping, and delivering GenAI-enabled automation solutions for banking operations.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end engineering lifecycle for GenAI and automation initiatives from discovery to production handover.
• Analyze banking workflows across operations, compliance, risk, servicing, KYC, and reporting to find automation opportunities.
• Design LLM-powered workflows including RAG solutions, agents, prompt chains, tool calling, and human-in-the-loop review.
• Build prototypes and MVPs using enterprise LLM platforms such as Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and OpenAI/Azure OpenAI.
• Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems, APIs, workflow platforms, and document/data repositories.
• Implement responsible AI guardrails across privacy, PII handling, hallucination control, bias mitigation, explainability, and auditability.

What you'll need

• 8-10+ years of software engineering and/or AI/automation delivery experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing GenAI/LLM/NLP/machine learning or intelligent automation in enterprise environments.
• Strong programming capability in Python (Java/JavaScript/TypeScript are advantageous).
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs, SDKs, backend services, microservices, and event-/workflow-based architectures.
• Understanding of RAG patterns, vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, tool calling, agent orchestration, and LLM evaluation.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps/CI-CD, automated testing, source control, monitoring, and incident management.
• Strong data privacy and PII protection knowledge including encryption, access control, audit logging, and model risk considerations.
