Overview
Senior technical architecture role to design and evolve Agentic AI and Conversational AI capabilities for the Anaplan platform.
What you'll do
- Define how intelligent agents interact with users, enterprise data, applications, APIs, and planning capabilities.
- Architect systems for natural-language intent understanding, context, reasoning, retrieval, tool invocation, and multi-step orchestration.
- Design conversational AI architecture for multi-turn dialogues, context preservation, intent understanding, response generation, grounding, and explainability.
- Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for enterprise knowledge with authorization-aware retrieval and grounding improvements.
- Evaluate and apply foundation models/AI technologies based on requirements (capability, reasoning quality, latency, cost, reliability, routing, structured outputs).
- Work on enterprise-grade concerns including scalability, availability, resilience, observability, security, privacy, governance, and cost.
What you'll need
- 12+ years of experience designing and building sophisticated software systems.
- Substantial exposure to distributed systems, cloud architecture, and modern AI technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, Conversational AI, or closely related technologies, ideally from PoC to production.
- Comfort with at least one modern programming language and experience designing APIs, microservices, and cloud-native distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of LLM application architecture, including RAG, embeddings, vector search, prompting, context management, tool/function calling, agent orchestration, and AI evaluation.
- Experience relevant to secure AI architectures, including multi-agent systems and enterprise knowledge systems.
