Senior Analyst Identity Management

Overview

Senior Analyst responsible for managing identity and access management (IAM) across systems and applications, including joiner, mover and leaver processes, IAM incidents and audit support, within M&G India's Pune location.

What you'll do

• Manage the lifecycle of user accounts and access rights across systems and applications, ensuring timely onboarding and offboarding.
• Respond to and resolve IAM-related incidents, such as access request queries.
• Resolve issues with JML processes and support internal or external audits and investigations.
• Define, maintain and optimize roles and permissions to enforce consistent access policies and reduce the risk of privilege escalation.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to investigate and resolve identity and access management related issues.
• Work collaboratively with other identity functions and the wider Enterprise Security and M&G Plc organisation to ensure the secure and stable delivery and operation of IAM.
• Oversee the IAM mailboxes, ensuring they are managed and queries are answered in a timely manner.
• Identify gaps in processes and drive changes to make controls more effective.
• Look for improvements within processes and controls and maintain continuous improvement plans.
• Investigate and gather evidence on audit queries received from internal or external auditors.
• Proactively manage stakeholder expectations through effective resolution of, or updates on progress of, outstanding queries.
• Provide advice on onboarding new applications and maintaining existing roles so they are correctly classified, tagged and have appropriate security controls in place.
• Contribute to IAM-related security awareness training programs for employees.
• Act as a project manager from ideation through to delivery, influencing decisions and proactively looking for opportunities and tools to improve the process.
• Manage a team of technical engineers and lead at all levels.
• Clearly articulate business value to senior stakeholders and challenge them where appropriate.
• Understand the risk and controls around the platforms.
• Work in truly Agile ways using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with peers across various levels for experiential learning.
• Focus on scalability, resilience, security, quality and continuous rigour to reduce technical debt.
