Senior Analyst - Insurance Operations

Overview

Senior Analyst / Analyst role in Insurance Services (Grade B1/B2) at Marsh, based in the Mumbai (Powai) office, handling complex and diverse insurance processing work.

What you'll do

• Contribute to achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business objectives.
• Adhere to company policies and remain in compliance at all times.
• Maintain performance standards.
• Update reports based on predefined templates on a regular basis to ensure accurate entry.
• Maintain a basic understanding of the core aspects of relevant insurance and related legislation.
• Complete all training-related activities when assigned, and all assigned activities within the stipulated time.
• Meet production and quality targets in training and in business-as-usual work after training.
• Communicate status of work and any issues to team managers and manager on time.
• Maintain schedule adherence; no unplanned leaves.
• Ensure statutory regulations and company procedures are followed to protect clients, colleagues and the business interests of the company.
• Use Marsh Speciality's systems appropriately to monitor, record and retain information.
• Demonstrate clear understanding of regulatory requirements and proactively ensure compliance with the regulatory and risk framework.
• Adhere to policies, guidelines and operating procedures, and keep own knowledge and expertise up to date.
• Identify and evaluate risks appropriately, and recognise how own actions impact compliance.

What you'll need

• Prior years of work experience.
• Graduate in any stream.
• Fair understanding of Insurance Broking business and dynamics.
• Good command over spoken and written English.
• Superior comprehension and articulation skills.
• Ability to prioritise and organise tasks and work within stiff timelines.
• Eye for detail and innovative mindset.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.

Nice to have

• Insurance certification from The Institutes, USA.
• Post-Graduation/Certificate Courses in Insurance.
• Any prior experience on any insurance process.

Details

• Location: Mumbai (Powai) office.
• Work mode: hybrid; all colleagues expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week, with at least one anchor day per week for office-based teams.
• Shift requirement will be communicated by the hiring manager and HR for the team being interviewed for.
• Holidays as per location, subject to business requirements; shared transport provided where the address falls in an accepted service zone.
