Senior Analyst - Operational Finance

Overview

Senior Analyst in the RTR (Record to Report) team in Bangalore, supporting month-end processes and strengthening the control environment, working closely with the reporting manager.

What you'll do

• Perform monthly payroll accounting and analysis.
• Report P&L intercompany balances in BPC and clear mismatches.
• Identify and agree intercompany recharges with counterparts.
• Deliver month end closure (MEC) activities, including P&L and balance sheet finalization.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and required workings and commentary for BS calls.
• Support the Manager/Assistant Manager in monthly/quarterly financial reporting and control activities.
• Prepare budget and reforecast requirements and manage BPC submissions.
• Maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), prepare dashboards and ensure audit compliance.
• Deliver timely, error-free reports, KPI dashboards, non-compliance reports and other key process metrics to stakeholders.
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives (CII) by identifying process lapses, offering solutions and leading automation projects as identified.
• Manage ad hoc requirements and projects on financial control and compliance areas.
• Support the Manager/Assistant Manager in external audit processes, such as gathering documentation for the organisation's procedures and other audit supporting materials.

What you'll need

• Finance Graduate, Postgraduate or semi-qualified Accountant.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in Payroll Accounting, P&L and balance sheet analysis, GL, intercompany and Record to Report process.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, across different regions and levels.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• High level of responsibility and commitment to assigned activities.
• Agile and flexible to changing needs and ad hoc requirements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation).
• Knowledge of the Blackline tool.
