Sr Analyst, Hedge Fund Acctng

Overview

Senior Analyst role in hedge fund accounting, producing timely and accurate reports and financial statements for a designated group of hedge fund clients.

What you'll do

• Produce timely and accurate reports and accounts for hedge fund clients, under general supervision.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for a designated group of funds.
• Identify, document and disseminate new procedures and controls.
• Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
• Interact directly with committees and/or Senior Management where required.
• Serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to more junior employees.
• Manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (not a formal management role).
• Deliver a work product that requires less revision.
• Facilitate discussions and reach decisions.

What you'll need

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• In-depth functional and industry knowledge.
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
• Technical skills and systems knowledge (e.g. PeopleSoft).
• A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience.
• Related industry qualification (e.g. ACCA).
