Sr Financial Analyst Distribution

Overview

Support the APAC distribution revenue FP&A function within the COE, covering forecasting, financial modelling for VIP affiliates, variance analysis and month-end close for distribution revenue P&L.

What you'll do

• Support the monthly forecasting, budgeting and reporting process based on prepared financial models, collecting feedback from regional distribution teams
• Maintain financial models for VIP affiliates based on actual subscriber reports and updated contractual terms
• Lead distribution analyses across managed markets to deliver insights on performance and identify R&Os
• Prepare variance analysis explaining actual and forecasted performance of managed markets/regions vs prior year, plan and prior forecast
• Collaborate with Billing, Revenue Accounting and Collections teams on month-end closing, reviewing accruals and providing feedback
• Manage and monthly update affiliate subscriber and revenue databases
• Maintain productive relationships with key contacts in regional Sales and Finance leadership to encourage information flow and knowledge sharing
• Assist business partners with affiliate revenue related projects
• Support automation and simplification projects to improve efficiency in FP&A affiliate revenue work
• Perform SOX analyses to ensure the correctness of system BI data flows and monthly subscriber reports

What you'll need

• 5+ years' experience in a Finance function in an FP&A department
• Diversified experience in financial reporting, forecasting, planning, modeling, and strong analytical skills
• Self-motivated and detail oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively
• Good English communication skills and relationship building
• Ability to establish professional, trust-based relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and the Microsoft Office suite
• Experience using EPM solutions such as SAP BPC, Hyperion, Anaplan or Adaptive
