Senior Analytics Engineer

Overview

Senior Analytics Engineer building data models, infrastructure, and data systems for the Analytics team to support decision-making across the organization.

What you'll do

• Translate analytics needs into robust data infrastructure and workflows for the global Analytics team.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and pipelines with the Data Engineering team.
• Monitor performance and optimize data systems for high performance and reliability.
• Build a Data Quality Framework with the Data Integrity team to meet data SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues and help implement fixes.
• Drive best practices across code standards, version control, documentation, testing, and review processes.
• Develop monitoring and alerting policies for data solutions and set up CI/CD processes.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data engineering.
• Python and PySpark.
• 5+ years of advanced SQL query experience, including analytical functions.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering/technical field or strong quantitative/software background.
• Proven track record building, monitoring, and optimizing large-scale data systems.
• Experience in Databricks and Azure (or other cloud equivalents).
• Experience with pipeline scheduling tools such as Airflow and Astronomer.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Terraform, GitHub, and Octopus.
