Senior Analytics Manager

Overview

Lead the analytics function for Headout's Product org, building product intelligence, defining key metrics, shaping the experimentation practice, and leading a team of product analysts.

What you'll do

• Define the metrics, frameworks, and experimentation systems that make Headout's product smarter over time.
• Work directly with Product leadership to answer what should we build next, bringing clarity on customer behaviour, funnel bottlenecks, and high-leverage opportunities.
• Raise the bar on experimentation, including hypothesis quality, statistical rigor, guardrails, and decision-making.
• Hire, mentor, and develop product analysts who own problem domains.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to shape what we build, not just measure what we shipped.

What you'll need

• 6-10 years in product analytics.
• At least 2 years leading or mentoring analysts.
• Track record of defining metrics that teams actually use to make decisions.
• Strong problem framing: translate ambiguous questions into testable hypotheses and clear measurement plans.
• Experimentation expertise: run A/B tests end-to-end, understand statistical pitfalls, and know when experiments are needed and when they are not.
• Full-funnel fluency across acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention, including diagnosing drop-offs, interpreting cohort behaviour, and identifying segmentation insights.
• Advanced SQL.
• Comfortable with Python or R for analysis and statistics.
