Senior Android Developer

Overview

Develop and test customer-facing banking and credit card features across Android and mobile platforms within an Agile Scrum team. Contribute across requirements, design review, development, testing, release support, and postproduction activities.

What you'll do

• Translate application designs into Android, Jetpack, and Kotlin code.
• Develop, configure, debug, and maintain mobile frontend and microservices applications.
• Create, execute, and maintain BDD automated and manual test scripts.
• Identify, triage, and help fix application defects and performance issues.
• Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, accessibility, and responsive web validation.
• Support release go-live technical checkouts and postproduction activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, root cause analysis, audits, and process improvement.

What you'll need

• 4–7 years of professional full-stack mobile development and/or testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, a related STEM field, or comparable work experience.
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK, platform lifecycle, and Google ecosystem.
• Basic familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development concepts.
• Working knowledge of collaboration and project management tools including JIRA and Confluence.
• Ability to write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Selenium with Cucumber test automation frameworks.
• Exposure to or interest in cloud-based platforms such as OpenShift.
