Senior Android Engineer

Overview

Senior Android Engineer for Bureau’s Fraud Prevention team, building scalable Android SDKs and cross-platform mobile infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain Android SDKs, libraries, and reusable platform modules.
• Collaborate with multiple product teams to turn repeatable patterns into common tooling.
• Build and maintain cross-platform components in Flutter, aligning with iOS and Android.
• Optimize SDKs for performance, memory, battery efficiency, and reliability.
• Apply OOP/SOLID and clean architecture patterns such as MVVM/MVI.
• Add instrumentation and logging for observability and work with QA/CI/CD/DevOps on releases.
• Proactively integrate Android platform updates into the SDKs.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with strong understanding of Android SDK internals.
• Solid foundation in OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles.
• Experience with Gradle, multi-module architectures, and build optimizations.
• Track record of building, maintaining, and distributing Android SDKs used across multiple apps.
• Comfort with app lifecycle, background tasks, concurrency, and memory management.
