Overview

Senior-level software engineer to develop Android Automotive OS platform features and customer-facing capabilities for connected, embedded infotainment systems.

What you'll do

• Own functionality from requirement analysis through realization in the Android Automotive domain.
• Develop modules and components for the Android Automotive system.
• Deliver and support software for software integration.
• Define test strategies, run pre-integration testing, and document achieved results.
• Maintain traceability and consistency of requirements and ensure feature maturity.
• Triage and resolve defects and coordinate with other domains on feature/dependency issues.
• Mentor less experienced team members to complete tasks on time.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of working experience modifying Android framework components, system services, and the Android SDK.
• Expert knowledge of the Android Framework, AOSP platform architecture, and related build system.
• Good understanding of Android Automotive System and Car Framework.
• Knowledge of Android components including Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers, and Treble architecture.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with software life-cycle methodologies and agile cross-functional collaboration.
