Senior Staff Engineer Software (Android Developer)

Overview

Senior Staff Engineer Software role focused on architecting and developing a secure foundation for an enterprise browser in a mobile Android context.

What you'll do

• Own critical features from conception through deployment for the mobile enterprise browser core.
• Write across multiple areas including CI, Mobile, Web, and Security.
• Work on low-level operating systems to research and deliver solutions to support enterprise security.
• Mentor and guide fellow engineers and share expertise to foster collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and the product.

What you'll need

• Have 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Have 3+ years of experience developing in Kotlin for Android.
• Have hands-on integration experience, including JNI-based app development.
• Have a strong understanding of cryptology and certificate management.
• Have a Computer Science B.Sc. or equivalent education (or equivalent military experience).
• Maintain a positive can-do mindset and be able to work independently and in a team.

Nice to have

• Be familiar with Android testing frameworks such as Robolectric, JUnit, Espresso, and UI Automator.
• Have browser development experience (Chromium or Mozilla).
• Have knowledge of browser internals.
• Have experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies.
