Overview

Senior Associate II, Software Engineering - Development is a technical support role providing Level 1 and/or Level 2 support for an embedded, real-time Linux, cloud-edge, and platform software environment.

What you'll do

• Receive and triage support cases, collect diagnostics, and attempt issue reproduction.
• Communicate next steps and maintain case status in customer-defined systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, technical investigation, and root-cause support for Level 2 cases.
• Develop workarounds and reproduce deeper issues across software, platform, and integration layers.
• Support complex customer environments in lab, integration, platform, and certification-related contexts when directed.
• Document solutions, develop knowledge resources, mentor support engineers, and contribute to process improvement.
• Escalate defects, product issues, security concerns, and certification/compliance questions through approved channels.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across embedded systems and Linux environments are required.
• Ability to analyze logs, configurations, customer scenarios, and reproduction steps is required.
• Experience with case management/ITSM tools, support workflows, and escalation procedures is required.
• Familiarity with C/C++, Python, shell, Git, Kubernetes, containers, and debugging is required.
