Senior Associate – Snowflake Data Engineer, Advisory

Overview

Senior Associate role in PwC's Advisory practice, Data, Analytics & AI specialism, focused on payment testing for payment gateways, POS terminals and banking networks.

What you'll do

• Execute test cases across the entire transaction lifecycle, including authorization, capture, settlement, refunds and chargebacks.
• Verify payload data and compliance with protocols such as ISO 8583, ISO 20022 (MT/MX messages), SWIFT and SEPA.
• Test endpoints using tools like Postman or Swagger and validate database transactions using SQL.
• Perform end-to-end testing integrating with major networks such as Visa, Mastercard and domestic systems like UPI.

What you'll need

• Bachelor of Engineering, B.Tech, MCA, M.E or M.Tech.
• 7+ years in QA/Software Testing, with a strong focus on the Fintech or Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) domain.
• Proficiency in automation frameworks (Selenium, Java, Rest Assured).
• Proficiency in defect tracking software (JIRA, ALM).
• Working knowledge of payment security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
