  • Evaluate business requirements and recommend solutions using standard Maximo configurations, automation scripts, integrations, or customizations.
  • Follow coding, configuration, documentation, security, and technical-review standards.
  • Create and maintain solution designs, configuration documents, deployment instructions, rollback procedures, and support documentation.
  • Configure, develop, test, and support integrations using MIF, including Object Structures, Enterprise Services, Publish Channels, External Systems, Endpoints, Integration Controls, APIs, and message queues.
  • Support integrations between Maximo and SAP, middleware, data platforms, reporting tools, and other enterprise applications.
  • Work with REST APIs, web services, JSON, XML, and file-based integrations.
  • Perform data mapping, interface testing, message monitoring, error handling, reprocessing, and reconciliation.
  • Investigate integration failures using application logs, integration logs, queue messages, and database queries.
  • Coordinate with integration, database, infrastructure, security, and external application teams to resolve issues.
  • Provide technical and functional support for Maximo and its integrations, including incident investigation, defect resolution, triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution.
  • Monitor cron tasks, scheduled jobs, interfaces, integration queues, and application logs.
  • Support critical incidents, problem-management activities, and production releases.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, root causes, resolutions, known errors, preventive actions, knowledge articles, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, understand requirements and acceptance criteria with product owners and stakeholders, and convert business requirements into configuration, development, integration, testing, and validation tasks.
  • Provide effort estimates and maintain accurate updates for user stories, defects, and technical activities.
  • Support change control, release planning, deployment, production verification, post-release monitoring, implementation plans, and rollback procedures.
  • Participate in requirements review, risk assessment, test planning, test-case preparation, execution, and defect management.
  • Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, negative, end-to-end, and User Acceptance Testing scenarios.
  • Validate Maximo configurations, business rules, security access, automation scripts, workflows, integrations, and data-processing results.
  • Track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or an equivalent tool, and maintain traceability between requirements, designs, test cases, defects, and test evidence.
  • Support validation documents and ensure changes are assessed, documented, tested, approved, and deployed in accordance with applicable GxP procedures.
  • Follow data-integrity, audit-trail, security, access-control, and electronic-record requirements.
  • Apply secure development and configuration practices, least-privilege principles, and protect credentials, API keys, certificates, secrets, and sensitive configuration information.
  • Participate in cross-skilling opportunities beyond IBM Maximo, including SAP EAM or SAP Plant Maintenance, AI and Generative AI solutions, data engineering and analytics, reporting and BI, automation, cloud technologies, and enterprise integrations.
