Overview
Join the global BI team as a Senior BI Developer working on data processing pipelines, a Snowflake data warehouse, reporting, and an AI layer. Own work end to end from requirements and ETL through data modeling and Tableau dashboards, while acting as a technical anchor on complex, cross-team work.
What you'll do
- Own complex tickets and non-standard requests end to end, including new projects with other teams.
- Pull data from various sources and integrate it into ETL processes.
- Design and own parts of the data warehouse and data models across pipeline layers.
- Identify pipeline and workload optimizations, propose changes, and lead them with others on the team.
- Monitor data integrity and validity, and raise red flags early.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and document new definitions, processes, and BI work.
- Manage Snowflake roles and privileges, granting the right privilege to the right role in the hierarchy.
- Administer Tableau Server.
- Own Airflow DAGs and orchestration patterns.
- Take part in the on-call rotation and build monitoring that reduces how often it fires.
- Design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions in Tableau and set the standard for how they are built.
- Work with Product Analysts, Marketing, Data Scientists, Finance, and game teams to deliver insights.
- Coach and mentor Core and Associate developers.
- Author and publish reusable, versioned AI skills so the team performs tasks consistently.
- Design agent and subagent workflows that split large work into reliable steps with an independent verification step.
- Build and evaluate Snowflake Cortex Agents and Semantic Views, including measuring whether answers are correct.
- Verify AI-assisted work and monitor AI cost while enforcing safe-data practice.
