Overview
Senior Business Systems Analyst for Finance Systems, serving as internal functional lead for Workday Financials and owning key financial data structures and reporting solutions.
What you'll do
- Serve as internal functional lead for Workday Financials, driving configuration decisions and validating designs.
- Design and configure the Financial Data Model (FDM), including Chart of Accounts, Worktags, and dimensional hierarchies.
- Develop Prism Analytics and Accounting Center solutions, from source analysis through build and testing.
- Gather requirements from Finance, Accounting, and FP&A stakeholders and build executive reporting, dashboards, and analytics.
- Participate in implementation workshops, translating needs into buildable designs and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with integrations, security, and configuration teams to align master data, journals, and controls.
- Drive expansion and adoption of the Workday platform and identify process improvement/automation opportunities.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience in finance systems, ERP implementation, or business systems analysis.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Workday Financials experience.
- Deep expertise in Workday Financial Data Model (FDM), including Chart of Accounts design, Worktags, dimensional hierarchies, and Accounting Books setup.
- Strong experience with Workday Prism Analytics, including data modeling, source integration, calculated fields, and report development.
- Experience across full ERP implementation lifecycles, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover planning, and hypercare.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting processes including General Ledger, multi-entity consolidation, intercompany accounting, and management reporting.
- Technical proficiency with SQL, Python, or scripting languages for data analysis and integration support.
Details
- Annual compensation range: $205,000–$270,000 USD.
- Logistics: hybrid policy expecting staff in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
- Visa sponsorship: offered, with reasonable effort to sponsor and an immigration lawyer retained to help.
