Senior Data Analyst, CS Commercial Operations

Overview

Senior Data Analyst for HubSpot’s Customer Success Strategy and Operations team. You’ll use quantitative analysis and data assets to support customer retention, growth, and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Partner with stakeholders to translate data and business needs into actionable analyses.
• Conduct quantitative analysis of user behavior to identify issues and opportunities.
• Develop scalable, reproducible data assets that act as a single source of truth.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate open-ended research with quantitative insights.
• Communicate insights and plans for action to stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
• Use analysis to inform near-term operational decisions and product roadmaps.

What you'll need

• Academic or professional experience with a heavy quantitative, analytical focus.
• Experience working with large datasets including data mining, manipulation, and exploration.
• Ability to write performant, complex SQL queries and analyze in code-based or notebook environments.
• Experience using AI to elevate analytical standards and scale execution while maintaining rigor.
• Experience building commercial models such as ROI and LTV, and forecasting trends.
• Excellent communication skills, including presenting strategies and outcomes to C-suite executives.
• Track record as a go-to expert for driving data-driven decision-making.
